How Resubmit AI reaches a recommendation.
Resubmit AI is built to turn a rejection notice into a defensible next action. It separates what the reviewer actually stated from what still needs to be verified, then maps the case to current public platform policy.
Short version
The analyzer does not predict what a reviewer will decide. It identifies the cited rule, tests the available facts against the official policy, distinguishes a product fix from a clarification or appeal, and produces a verification plan plus a response draft that avoids claiming unconfirmed changes.
Evidence used in the analysis
Reviewer message
The exact text from App Review or Play Console is the primary evidence. The system identifies the cited rule, enforcement type, requested action, and facts the reviewer says they observed.
Optional app context
The app URL, affected flow, implemented changes, and available evidence make the result more specific. Missing context is reported as an assumption rather than silently invented.
Official public policy
Recommendations are mapped to current Apple or Google policy pages. Policy links and the date checked are included in the complete Fix Pack.
How the next action is chosen
| Recommendation | When it is used |
|---|---|
| Fix first | The message identifies a product, implementation, metadata, privacy, payment, or reliability gap that can be corrected and verified. |
| Clarify first | The build may already comply, but the reviewer lacks a working path, account, explanation, or evidence needed to verify it. |
| Appeal | The available evidence points to a likely factual misunderstanding or incorrect application of a rule. An appeal is not recommended merely because the rejection is frustrating. |
Quality controls
- Confirmed facts, assumptions, and unknowns are kept separate.
- Suggested reviewer language is limited to changes and evidence the developer can verify.
- The plan prioritizes product and implementation fixes before wording changes when the rejection identifies a real compliance gap.
- Official policy references are included so the developer can verify the rule before resubmitting.
- A safe rules-based fallback is used when a complete AI-assisted report cannot pass the output quality checks.
What Resubmit AI cannot verify
Without access to the submitted binary, App Store Connect, Play Console, backend logs, private accounts, or reviewer environment, Resubmit AI cannot confirm that a feature works, that a change is already shipped, or that approval will follow. The report therefore identifies evidence gaps and asks the developer to validate them before sending a response.
Sources and independence
Apple and Google remain the final decision-makers. Resubmit AI is an independent service and is not affiliated with either company. Primary policy references come from the Apple App Review Guidelines, Apple App Review resources, and Google Play Developer policies.
